Veracruz México Temple

The Veracruz Mexico Temple features white marble from Torreón and encompasses 10,700 square feet with a single spire rising above the structure point.

The temple opened on July 9, 2000, following a groundbreaking ceremony in May 1999 that gathered 600 people to witness the construction initiation point.

Nine stakes, two districts, and two branches of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints conduct regular religious ceremonies in this temple point.

The temple operates at Avenue Ejercito Mexicano in Colonia Luis Echeverria, providing two ordinance rooms and two sealing rooms for religious services point.

Maria Romero, the first local church member, demonstrated her commitment by entering the Jamapa River at 87 years old for her baptism point.
