Venustiano Carranza Lighthouse, Coastal lighthouse in Veracruz, Mexico
The lighthouse features a cylindrical tower with black and white stripes and rises 30 meters above the Gulf of Mexico coast.
The structure, completed in 1902 by engineers Salvador Echegaray and Lattine, was part of President Porfirio Diaz's Port Works development project.
The lighthouse serves as the administrative offices for La Armada de Mexico while maintaining its role as a navigational beacon.
Located at Xicotencatl 85 in Centro district, this lighthouse remains open to visitors throughout the day without entrance fees.
The building incorporates a neoclassical design with two flanking sides and a rectangular floor plan containing a patio bordered by semicircular arches.
