Artpace

Artpace is an art center in a converted industrial building downtown San Antonio with multiple exhibition areas and working studios. The rooms make it possible to experience contemporary art forms and how artists work directly.

A private founder established this center in the mid-1990s as an initiative to support contemporary artists. The conversion of an old industrial building marked the start of a new use for artistic purposes.
