Weston Centre, Office skyscraper in San Antonio, United States
Weston Centre is an office skyscraper at the corner of East Pecan Street in downtown San Antonio, Texas. The tower has 32 floors and rises about 135 meters with a glass-heavy facade and a reinforced concrete frame.
The building was constructed in the late 1980s and was the most expensive construction project in San Antonio at the time. Its completion came during a period when the city center was going through a phase of major renewal.
The glass facade of the building mirrors the sky and stands out clearly in the downtown skyline of San Antonio. It sits at a busy corner where office workers, tourists, and locals all pass through during the day.
The tower sits right next to the Riverwalk and is easy to reach on foot from the historic city center. Visitors arriving by car can use the building's own parking garage, which has a controlled entrance.
The building served as a filming location for the 1991 movie Knight Rider 2000 and appears in several scenes. Film fans walking through the area may recognize the facade from one of those shots.
