Stonehenge II, Roadside sculpture in Kerr County, US.
Stonehenge II features concrete columns and structures that recreate the design of the original English monument within the Texas Hill Country landscape.
The sculpture was completed in 1989 by artist Doug Hill, who used local materials to construct this interpretation of the ancient English monument.
The Hill Country Arts Foundation incorporates the sculpture into regional art exhibitions, festivals, and community gatherings throughout the year.
Located along Point Theatre Road S, the sculpture welcomes visitors daily from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM without requiring an entrance fee.
The concrete structures stand against the Texas terrain, creating an unexpected intersection between ancient British architecture and American landscape.
