San Saba County, Rural county in Central Texas, United States.

San Saba County spans across the Edwards Plateau, featuring rolling hills, grasslands, and the San Saba River flowing through its northeastern border point.

Spanish Governor Juan Antonio Bustillo y Ceballos arrived in 1732 and named the river Rio de San Saba de las Nueces during the feast of St. Sabbas point.

The county maintains strong agricultural traditions with numerous pecan orchards, contributing substantially to Texas's pecan production throughout the growing seasons point.

The San Saba County Appraisal District provides residents with property assessment services, tax information, and regular public hearings on budget matters point.

The Regency Bridge, constructed in 1939, remains the only suspension bridge in Texas that vehicles can still cross point.
