Boardwalk Fun Park was an amusement park located in Grand Prairie, Texas, situated at the intersection of Belt Line Road and Interstate 30. The venue featured multiple rides and attractions spread across its grounds to serve visiting families.
The park was originally built in 1982 as White Water by Herschend Family Entertainment Corporation. It changed ownership several times before being renamed Boardwalk Fun Park in 1992 and ultimately closed after a serious incident on the Pipeline Express roller coaster.
The park served as a central entertainment destination in the Grand Prairie region, offering local families a place for recreation and social gatherings.
The park was easily accessible via Interstate 30 and operated seasonally with various payment methods for rides. Visitors should be aware that the site no longer functions as an amusement facility.
Following an incident on the Pipeline Express roller coaster, the park closed permanently and transformed into Grand Prairie Ford dealership by 1999.
