QuikTrip Park opened in May 2008 as the home of the Texas AirHogs baseball team, built with naming rights from the Tulsa-based QuikTrip convenience store chain. Its natural grass was replaced by Matrix artificial turf in 2013. After a $20 million redevelopment begun in April 2022, it reopened in July 2023 as a cricket ground with refurbished luxury suites, a sports bar and training nets.

Built for the Texas AirHogs, the ballpark opened in May 2008 with QuikTrip holding its naming rights as part of the chain's 50th anniversary. The AirHogs won the 2011 American Association title there, and in 2013 the natural grass gave way to Matrix artificial turf. After the team folded in October 2020, American Cricket Enterprises took a long-term lease, and a redevelopment of more than $20 million turned the site into a cricket ground reopened on July 11, 2023.

The stadium's name changed with its sports: QuikTrip paid for naming rights as part of its 50th anniversary, then it became AirHogs Stadium, and since 2023 it is Grand Prairie Stadium. Its tenants have included the Texas AirHogs, Texas United, the Texas Super Kings and the U.S. national cricket team.

The stadium is in Grand Prairie, Texas, and is reached by car; parking is available on site. For Major League Cricket matches, temporary bleachers are installed to double capacity, so check the fixture list before travelling. The venue also serves as a training base for the United States national cricket team.

The stadium's first international event was the 2024 T20 World Cup group stage, where the U.S. beat Pakistan in a Super Over on June 6, 2024. Temporary bleachers doubled capacity for the tournament, and the opening match between the United States and Canada was played here.
