La Vibora, Steel bobsled roller coaster in Arlington, United States
La Vibora is a steel bobsled roller coaster spanning approximately 1,490 feet with distinctive yellow, red, and black tracks supported by dark green columns. The ride winds through the park in a serpentine pattern.
The coaster debuted in 1984 as Sarajevo Bobsleds at Six Flags Magic Mountain in California. It relocated to Texas in 1986 and operated there until November 2024.
The Spanish name La Vibora means The Viper and refers to the Spain section of the park. Visitors notice how the serpentine movements of the ride reflect this naming choice.
Riders must be at least 42 inches tall and six passengers sit per car with lap restraints for safety. Wearing secure footwear and securing loose items is important since the ride features multiple rapid directional changes.
Rather than conventional tubular tracks, this coaster uses a metal trough system where cars roll freely in all directions. This design creates an authentic bobsled experience through unpredictable movements that passengers cannot anticipate.
