Choctaw Stadium, Sports stadium in Arlington, United States.
Choctaw Stadium is a sports venue with over 48,000 seats in Arlington, north of Dallas in Texas. The exterior combines granite and red brick, and the interior offers multiple tiers of seating that surround a playing surface reconfigured depending on the event hosted.
The venue opened in 1994 for baseball games and remained home to the Texas Rangers until 2019. A complete redesign followed to accommodate soccer and American football events, and the transformed layout debuted in 2020.
The name honors the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, which acquired naming rights in 2020 and became the first Native American tribal government to sponsor a major venue. Visitors see this recognition in signage and graphics around the facility.
Visitors find over 100 food and drink stands distributed throughout the grounds, including regional specialties. Entrances are accessible from multiple sides of the building, making it easier to reach your seating area.
The stadium kept its original structure and received only a new playing surface and different seating arrangements, without requiring a full demolition. The renovation took just a few months and allowed a quick reopening for other sports.
