The indoor sports facility contains two concourses surrounding a central court area with seating arrangements accommodating 7,000 spectators for various events and competitions.
The construction of College Park Center commenced in March 2010 and required an investment of 78 million dollars before its completion in February 2012.
The center functions as the principal venue for UTA Mavericks athletic programs, hosting basketball and volleyball games while serving as home court for Dallas Wings WNBA team.
The facility maintains specialized sports medicine areas, training facilities, two full practice courts, and substantial weight rooms for athletes and sports professionals.
The building earned LEED Gold certification through environmental features including low-emittance windows, reflective roofing materials, and water conservation systems.
