Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum, Wrestling museum and hall of fame in Wichita Falls, United States
The Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum was a museum and hall of fame for wrestlers in Wichita Falls, Texas. The rooms displayed masks, photos, trophies, and personal items that documented decades of the sport and offered an overview of its evolution.
Tony Vellano founded the institution in 1999 in New York, where it remained active for over a decade. In 2016 the museum moved to Texas and stayed there until 2021, when water damage forced the final closure.
The collection honored athletes from different decades and preserved their ring attire and championship belts in glass cases. Visitors could trace how the performances evolved across generations and what roles the performers played in entertainment.
The exhibition rooms were accessible during opening hours and allowed a tour through the different sections. Some exhibits were at eye level, others on higher or lower shelves, so visitors could take time to browse.
Each inducted member received a dedicated section with costumes, photos, and information about their career. Some cases also displayed hand-signed posters, letters, or training equipment rarely seen elsewhere.
