The Martin Horst House is a two-story brick residence in Mobile, Alabama, built in 1867 in the Italianate style. It has a symmetrical facade with a central entrance, a two-story porch supported by columns, and arched windows with decorative brackets and cornices.

The house was built in 1867 by architect George Woodward Cox and reflects the architectural preferences of that era. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971 for its design quality.

The house is named for Martin Horst, a Mobile figure whose family occupied the residence after its construction in 1867. Its Italianate design, with a two-story porch and cast-iron details, showed the status of a prosperous household in Reconstruction-era Mobile.

The residence is located on Conti Street in Mobile and can be easily spotted while walking down the street. Visitors can view the exterior features and architectural details from the public sidewalk surrounding the property.

The Martin Horst House was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 21, 1971, one of the early Mobile residences to receive that listing. Its registration rests on the 1867 Italianate design rather than on any later alteration.
