Logan Martin Lake

Logan Martin Lake is a reservoir along the Coosa River with extensive shoreline marked by numerous inlets and branching waterways. The water body features varying depths suitable for different activities and is surrounded by areas that blend water access with natural surroundings.

The lake was created in the 1960s through the construction of a dam that flooded the river valley and formed this water body. The project commemorated an influential figure from Alabama's government.
