Havana Province

Havana Province is a first-level administrative division in Cuba that encompasses the capital city and its surroundings with distinct neighborhoods. The area spans multiple districts each with different architectural styles and urban character.

The area was founded by Spanish settlers in the 16th century and received its first formal administrative structure in the late 19th century. The modern division emerged in the 1970s when administrative boundaries were reorganized.
