La Noria Bridge, Road bridge at Buenos Aires-Lomas de Zamora border, Argentina

The Puente de la Noria spans across the Riachuelo River, connecting Buenos Aires City with Buenos Aires Province through a metal structure with three sections.

Originally established as a shallow ford in colonial times, the bridge site evolved from a horse-drawn water wheel crossing to its first metal construction in 1906.

The bridge marks the southwestern vertex of Buenos Aires City, serving as a territorial landmark between the capital and the province since the 19th century.

The current bridge system includes two parallel structures handling traffic in opposite directions, accommodating thousands of vehicles traveling between jurisdictions daily.

The name derives from a water wheel installed by landowner Gregorio Rodriguez to extract water from the stream during the early settlement period.
