Vertigorama, Racing steel roller coaster in Parque de la Ciudad, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Vertigorama is a twin-track steel roller coaster located in Parque de la Ciudad where riders race side-by-side on parallel courses. The ride features six trains with seven cars each, seating 28 passengers per train across two rows.
Built in 1983 by Intamin AG and Giovanola, this coaster held the record as the world's tallest full-loop roller coaster when completed. The record stood for six years before being surpassed.
The roller coaster represents the 1980s expansion of entertainment facilities in Buenos Aires, reflecting the city's development of recreational spaces.
Visitors can find this attraction within the grounds of Parque de la Ciudad during regular park hours. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended as you will need to navigate the park grounds to reach the ride.
Despite being fully constructed and installed, this coaster has never operated for public riders since its assembly was completed. It remains a puzzling structure within the park with an untold operational history.
