The Autódromo Oscar y Juan Gálvez features multiple track configurations spanning up to 6040 meters, accommodating various racing categories on its flat terrain.
President Juan Domingo Perón inaugurated this motorsport venue in 1952, initially naming it Autódromo 17 de Octubre before its dedication to the Gálvez brothers.
The circuit stands as Argentina's primary motorsport facility, hosting national championships including Turismo Carretera, TC 2000, and Top Race competitions.
Located in the southern part of Buenos Aires, the 45,000-capacity venue provides spectators with clear views of the racing action from its extensive grandstands.
The track hosted twenty Formula One Argentine Grand Prix events between 1953 and 1998, with Gerhard Berger setting a lap record of 1:27.981 in 1997.
