Mumbuluma Falls

Mumbuluma Falls features two distinct cascading waterfalls in succession, with each section dropping approximately 5 to 10 meters into clear pools below.

The Ministry of Tourism designated this natural formation as a national monument of Zambia, recognizing its environmental and geographical importance to the region.

Local residents frequently gather at the lower falls' plunge pool, where younger community members display their swimming skills by jumping from the cascades.

Reaching the falls requires a 32-kilometer drive north from Mansa, followed by an 8.4-kilometer journey on an unpaved road with local guidance.

Each waterfall section creates its own independent plunge pool, allowing visitors to experience two different swimming environments within walking distance.
