Florida Carriage Museum & Resort, Horse carriage museum in Weirsdale, United States.
The collection featured 160 antique horse-drawn carriages from Europe and America, displayed across a 400-acre equestrian property in central Florida.
Gloria Austin established the Florida Carriage Museum in 1995, which operated until 2017 when the majority of the collection was sold and dispersed.
The museum documented the evolution of transportation through its extensive collection of formal and utilitarian horse-drawn vehicles from different periods.
The facility transformed into Grand Oaks Resort, maintaining its status as a United States Equestrian Federation accredited training center for various disciplines.
A portion of the original carriage collection remains accessible at the adjacent Equine Heritage Institute, preserving part of the transportation history.
