Cane Garden Country Club, Golf course and American restaurant in The Villages, United States.
Cane Garden Country Club is a 27-hole golf course sprawling across 140 acres with oak hammocks and varying tee positions ranging from 4,980 to 7,000 yards. The design incorporates natural terrain features into its layout, alongside a full-service American restaurant at the clubhouse.
The course developed alongside The Villages retirement community, integrating the existing oak hammocks into its layout. This approach allowed the designers to work with the natural landscape that was already present on the land.
The clubhouse functions as a gathering place where residents participate in regular tournaments and seasonal social events. These activities help create a strong sense of community among those who live in the area.
The facility is located on Bailey Trail and operates daily with both golf services and dining available throughout the day. Visitors should come prepared for walking terrain and bring sun protection depending on the season.
The course features an eagle preserve where players regularly spot nesting bald eagles, burrowing owls, and Southeast American Kestrels during rounds. This wildlife viewing adds an unexpected layer to the golfing experience.
