Nova Southeastern University is a private university in Fort Lauderdale with fourteen colleges offering programs from undergraduate through doctoral levels across more than one hundred and fifty fields of study. The institution began in nineteen sixty-four as Nova University of Advanced Technology and merged thirty years later with Southeastern University of the Health Sciences. Since then it has carried its current name and expanded its offerings with numerous health and research programs.
