Weston is a city in Broward County, Florida, located about 31 miles northwest of Miami and covering roughly 26 square miles. The streets are lined with residential neighborhoods, lakes and green spaces that give the city a spacious and open feel.
Industrialist Arthur Vining Davis acquired the land in the 1950s and first named it Indian Trace. In the early 1980s, the area was renamed and developed as a planned city with residential communities and infrastructure.
The population of 68,107 residents represents a diverse mix, with 54.1% Hispanic or Latino, 30.5% non-Hispanic White, 6.9% Asian, and 3.4% Black residents.
