One Financial Plaza

One Financial Plaza is a 374-foot-tall office building with 28 floors located in the Las Olas business district of Fort Lauderdale. The tower houses a fitness center, conference facilities, and dining venues for its office tenants.

Completed in 1972, it was the first high-rise building to establish Fort Lauderdale's skyline. This structure marked the beginning of the city's modern vertical development.

The Tower Club occupies the upper floors as a gathering place where business professionals meet and conduct informal dealings while overlooking the ocean. This private club has become part of the social fabric of Fort Lauderdale's business community.

The building is centrally positioned and easily accessible, with modern amenities available for visitors and workers. Access to public areas is available during business hours, though some spaces may be restricted.

In 2009, the building received substantial reinforcement of its facade to meet Florida building codes for hurricane resistance. This renovation changed its external appearance and made the structure significantly more resilient to severe weather.
