Deerfield Beach Arboretum, also called the Tree Zoo, covers 9 acres (3.6 ha) at 2841 West Hillsboro Boulevard in the Deer Creek area of western Deerfield Beach. It is divided into sections including bamboo, butterfly garden, children's garden, orchid display, palm collection, spice and herb garden, tropical fruit trees and a wetlands demonstration area. A paved loop trail measures half a mile and has exercise stations.

The Deerfield Beach Arboretum was founded on Arbor Day, April 28, 1995, by city forester Zeke Landis with 22 trees and palms. Hurricane Wilma damaged it in October 2005, closing it for five months, and full restoration was completed by 2008. In May 2016 a rainforest garden with ponds and waterfalls opened on the northeast side, funded with 140,000 USD from Broward County.

The nickname Tree Zoo comes from the collection of more than 200 tree and palm species from around the world, including over 50 kinds of flowering trees. Volunteers from the Friends of the Deerfield Beach Arboretum lead tours every Friday at 10:00 am and on the first Saturday of each month, and hold a free horticultural talk on the second Thursday, September to May.

The grounds are open from sunrise to sunset with free admission for all visitors throughout the year.The well-maintained pathways are easy to navigate and accessible for families and visitors of varying mobility levels.

The grounds include specialized areas such as a butterfly garden, wetlands demonstration space, and an extensive bamboo collection.These themed zones showcase different ecological habitats and their characteristic plants within a compact footprint.
