The museum opened its doors in 1998 and underwent reconstruction after Hurricane Jeanne caused extensive damage to its facilities in 2004.
The facility educates visitors about the contributions of the United States Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard through exhibits and educational programs.
Located at 1402 Roseland Avenue, the museum welcomes visitors from Wednesday through Saturday between noon and 4:00 PM with free admission.
This institution stands as the only museum in the United States dedicated to preserving the traditions of all three military sea services.
