The William H. Waterhouse House stands at 820 South Lake Lily Drive, featuring a two-and-a-half-story L-shaped structure built with pine wood materials.
Built in 1884 by carpenter William Waterhouse, the residence underwent multiple modifications in 1908, 1910, 1930, and during the 1950s while maintaining its Victorian design.
The Maitland Historical Society maintains the property as a museum, presenting furnished rooms that display daily life during the late Victorian period.
Visitors can explore both the main residence and the adjacent 1883 Carpentry Shop Museum, which contains a collection of 19th-century woodworking tools.
The dining room exhibits an unusual centerpiece featuring a decorative hand, while Victorian-era mourning customs are demonstrated through a preserved hair wreath display.
