Little Econ Greenway

The Little Econ Greenway extends 7.4 miles along the Econlockhatchee River through Orlando, providing a paved pathway for walking, cycling, and jogging through natural landscapes and residential neighborhoods.

The trail follows portions of a former railway corridor that supported regional commerce during the 20th century, transforming abandoned transportation infrastructure into a recreational linear park for public use.

The community commemorated Deputy Sheriff Thomas Ingram with a memorial sign in April 2024, while the trail hosts annual events including fun runs, nature walks, and environmental clean-up days.

Multiple parking areas are available at Jay Blanchard Park, Econ Soccer Complex, and Arcadia Acres, with trail access permitted from sunrise to sunset and specific regulations for cyclists and pet owners.

The trail connects directly to canoeing routes along an integrated canal system, allowing visitors to combine land-based hiking with water activities along the same recreational corridor.
