Orlando Florida Temple

The Orlando Florida Temple is a modern sanctuary with a white precast concrete exterior mixed with marble chips and crowned with a statue of the angel Moroni. The large property spans 13 acres in Windermere and provides religious spaces for ceremonies and worship.

The temple was built in 1994 and was the first sanctuary of this church in Florida. Its construction marked the expansion of the religious community into the southeastern United States.

The temple serves as a religious center for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from Florida and surrounding regions. The place shapes the religious life of a growing community in the area.

The temple is located in Windermere on a quiet property that is easy to reach by car. Visitors should check ahead to learn which areas are accessible, as not all parts are open to the public.

The building underwent extensive renovations starting in 2024, receiving its first major structural update since completion. This overhaul will fundamentally change the interior and bring it up to current standards.
