The Orlando Florida Temple opened in 1994 as the first temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints constructed in Florida.
The temple contains four instruction rooms, five sealing rooms, and a baptistry for members of the Latter-day Saints from Florida, Georgia, Jamaica, and Puerto Rico.
Located at 9000 Windy Ridge Road, the temple stands on a 13-acre property with white precast concrete exterior mixed with marble chips.
The temple will undergo extensive renovations starting July 2024, marking its first major structural update since its construction thirty years ago.
