The museum exhibits Civil War artifacts, including weapons, uniforms, and documents detailing Davis's journey from Richmond to Irwin County.
Visitors can access thirteen picnic areas, a group shelter for 100 people, and a nature trail within the operating hours of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Two Union cavalrymen lost their lives during a case of mistaken identity when different Union groups encountered each other during Davis's capture.
