Enmarket Arena, Multi-purpose sports venue in downtown Savannah, United States.
The Enmarket Arena is a multi-purpose facility in downtown Savannah covering roughly 215,000 square feet (20,000 m²) with seating for approximately 9,500 people on multiple tiers. The interior features luxury boxes along the upper levels and separate lounges for different groups of visitors.
After twenty years of talks about replacing the old Civic Center, construction began in 2019 on a site near downtown. The hall opened in February 2022 as the new main address for large events in the city.
The building hosts home games for the Ghost Pirates, a professional hockey team that regularly draws sold-out crowds. Between sporting events, the hall transforms for touring concerts and stage shows, drawing audiences from across the region.
Parking spaces are available around the grounds, with some areas still being completed. It is best to arrive earlier before larger events to find a convenient spot and walk in comfortably.
As the first major entertainment building in the city, the hall received LEED 4 certification for sustainable construction and energy efficiency. The certification covers aspects like material choice, water use, and operational processes that reduce environmental impact over time.
