First Presbyterian Church, Neoclassical Presbyterian church in Charleston, US.

The First Scots Presbyterian Church features a symmetrical facade with twin towers rising above three-foot-thick brick walls covered in white stucco.

Established in 1814, the congregation originated from twelve Scottish families who separated from the Meeting House in 1731 to form their own religious community.

The stained glass window above the main entrance displays the Church of Scotland seal, while wrought iron grilles incorporate thistle patterns throughout the structure.

The church maintains regular worship services at the intersection of Meeting Street and Tradd Street, with an English bell from 1814 ringing from the north tower.

During the Civil War, the original church bell was removed and donated to the Confederate army for military purposes.
