Finlay Park, Public park in downtown Columbia, United States.

Finlay Park is a 14-acre green space in downtown Columbia with interconnected paved pathways, a central pond, and cascading water features. The park includes two play areas for children and multiple seating zones throughout its grounds.

The space was established in 1859 as Sidney Park and received its current name in 1994 after a former Columbia mayor. The renaming coincided with a major renovation that transformed it into the modern gathering place it is today.

The park hosts regular outdoor performances and community gatherings that bring people together throughout the year. These events are woven into the rhythm of downtown life and draw residents from across the city.

The park is accessible daily from 6 AM to 11 PM and sits between Assembly and Taylor Streets in downtown. Restroom facilities are located near the main entrances for visitor convenience.

A bronze statue of a former mayor seated on a bench inside the park creates an unusual spot for visitors to pause and reflect. This figure marks the quiet dedication of someone who brought this downtown space back to life.
