HTC Center

The HTC Center is a multi-purpose sports facility designed across multiple levels, featuring specialized exercise studios, modern fitness equipment, and a large arena with seating for around 3,200 spectators. The building combines training areas with event spaces suitable for sports competitions, concerts, and academic programs.

The facility opened in 2012 as the new main sports venue for Coastal Carolina University, replacing the earlier Kimbel Arena. The construction represented a significant institutional investment to meet growing needs for modern sports and event spaces.

The venue hosts basketball games, volleyball matches, and concerts that draw together students and members of the surrounding community. These events create opportunities for people to gather and share experiences throughout the year.

The facility is designed for easy navigation, with clear signage marking the fitness areas on the second floor and the main arena on the ground level. Parking is available on site, and the location is accessible by public transportation.

The arena features specialized seating sections and premium viewing areas positioned in corners that offer different perspectives on the action. These designated zones allow visitors to experience events from varied vantage points throughout the space.
