The Brittan Party House features an octagonal cupola, steep gables, and shiplap exterior siding made from redwood frame construction at 125 Dale Avenue.
Built in 1872 by Nathaniel Brittan, this two-and-a-half story house served as a hunting lodge and entertainment venue for San Francisco society members.
The house represents the architectural preferences of successful Gold Rush merchants who established social connections through the Bohemian Club of San Francisco.
Located at coordinates 37°30'02"N and 122°16'15"W, the property maintains its historical designation under reference number 94001500 in the National Register.
The structure stands as one of the few remaining examples of Octagon Mode architecture in the San Francisco Bay Area.
