Christmas in the Park, Holiday festival in Plaza de Cesar Chavez, San Jose, US
The Plaza de Cesar Chavez transforms into a celebration with forty musical exhibits, animated displays, and illuminated decorations during winter months.
Beginning over forty years ago, this holiday tradition has evolved from a small community gathering into a major regional celebration in Downtown San Jose.
Local schools, businesses, and community groups contribute by decorating individual trees throughout the two-acre park, creating a collective holiday display.
The event operates from November 29 through January 1, with weekday hours from 5 PM to 10 PM and weekend hours from noon to 10 PM.
The Lima Train exhibition contains original displays featuring a melting snowman, caroling mice, and elf woodcrafters in detailed seasonal scenes.
