Superman: Ultimate Flight is a steel roller coaster at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom that launches riders through a series of twists and inversions at high speed. The track design combines sharp turns with rolling maneuvers to create a fast-paced ride experience.
The ride opened in 2012 as a prototype model built by Premier Rides and was one of the first of its kind. This design became the foundation for similar launched coasters built at other parks.
The Superman theme incorporates elements from DC Comics, featuring the red and blue color scheme throughout the entire coaster structure and queue area.
