Providence Park, Sports stadium in Portland, United States
Providence Park features covered seating areas across three levels on the east side and traditional wooden benches in the main grandstand section.
The stadium opened in 1926 on the site of a former Chinese vegetable garden and underwent several name changes before becoming Providence Park.
The Portland Timbers soccer club maintains a consecutive home game sellout streak at Providence Park since joining Major League Soccer in 2011.
Located in the Goose Hollow neighborhood, the stadium accommodates 25,218 spectators and hosts approximately 150 events throughout the year.
A group of feral cats has maintained residence at the stadium since the 1980s, naturally controlling the rodent population within the grounds.
