Pacific Building, National Register historic office building in Portland, United States
The Pacific Building features red tile roofing, dormers, and geometric windows that integrate Chicago School style with Italian Renaissance architecture elements.
Constructed in 1926, the Pacific Building stands on the former grounds of the Henry Corbett mansion, known as the Million Dollar Cowpasture.
Architect Pietro Belluschi initiated his professional career while working on this building, which later became the headquarters for A.E. Doyle's architectural firm.
Located at 520 SW Yamhill Street across from Pioneer Courthouse, the Pacific Building maintains a central position in downtown Portland's business district.
The building originally contained Portland's first underground parking garage, a feature that remained operational until modifications in 2000.
