Admiral Apartments

Admiral Apartments is a five-story building at SW Park Avenue featuring red brick facades with cement plaster detailing and a crenelated roofline. The structure now houses studio and one-bedroom units for low-income residents and individuals with disabilities.

The structure was designed in 1909 by Emil Schacht as the Wheeldon Apartment Building and underwent several name changes over time. It later became known as Glen Court before receiving its current name in 1929.

The building displays Tudor-style architecture with red brick facades and original details that remain visible to visitors today. These features shape the character of the South Park Blocks and show how residents now live within historic spaces.
