Yeon Building, High-rise office building in downtown Portland, United States.
The Yeon Building reaches 15 stories with terra-cotta cladding and features elements of Chicago School architecture through its steel frame construction.
Built in 1911 by timber industrialist Jean Baptiste Yeon, this structure held the title of tallest building in Oregon until 1913.
The National Register of Historic Places listed this building in 1994, marking its role in Portland's commercial development during the early 1900s.
Located at 522 SW 5th Avenue, the building contains 103,000 square feet of space and maintains two elevators for vertical transportation.
The building's original design included cornice lights for nighttime illumination, which have since been removed from the structure.
