Lewis and Clark National Wildlife Refuge

The refuge extends across 35,000 acres of tidal marshes, mudflats, and waterways along the Columbia River between Clatsop and Wahkiakum Counties.

The United States Fish and Wildlife Service established this refuge in 1972 to maintain essential habitat for migrating birds along the Pacific Flyway.
