Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Indoor arena in Rose Quarter, Portland, United States

The Veterans Memorial Coliseum is an indoor arena in the oldest part of Portland's Rose Quarter. Its flat-roofed rectangular form has a plain white band above a dark curtain wall, whose glass panes are divided by a grid of vertical and horizontal mullions. At ground level, glass doors sit recessed behind short columns, and the building stands behind a low wall, trees and a street. Skidmore, Owings & Merrill designed it in the International Style.

The Memorial Coliseum was built in the oldest part of the Rose Quarter and hosted the Portland Buckaroos of the Western Hockey League from 1960 to 1974. In March 1965 it held the NCAA Final Four, where UCLA won its second title of the decade. When the Trail Blazers franchise was awarded in 1970, the arena became their home court, seating 12,666 for basketball; the team moved to the Moda Center in 1995. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places for its architecture.

The arena was built with large doors at both ends so the floats of the Portland Rose Festival's Grand Floral Parade could pass through the building; the parade traditionally started here, and the Rose Festival Queen's coronation has been held in the facility since 1961. The Portland Winterhawks of the Western Hockey League have played their home games here full-time since the 2021–22 season.
