Carmanah Walbran Provincial Park, Provincial park in Cowichan Valley, Canada.

The park spans 16,365 hectares of Pacific temperate rainforest with ancient Sitka spruce trees reaching heights over 95 meters and living for 800 years.

Randy Stoltmann discovered several old growth groves in 1982, leading to the establishment of the protected area as a provincial park on March 13, 1991.

The park stands within the traditional territories of the Ditidaht and Pacheedaht First Nations, preserving centuries of natural forest landscape and heritage.

Access requires driving on logging roads, and visitors must bring necessary supplies as the park offers minimal facilities and limited nearby services.

The Cheewhat Giant, located within the park boundaries, measures 6 meters in diameter and reaches 56 meters in height, making it Canada's largest tree.
