Moray Bridge

Moray Bridge is a swing bridge that crosses the Middle Arm of the Fraser River, linking Vancouver International Airport with Richmond. The structure features a movable center span that opens for boat traffic, while fixed approach spans on either side carry regular vehicle flow.

The bridge opened in 1957 to replace an earlier crossing and meet growing traffic demands between the airport and Richmond. It was named after Jonathan Moray, a Royal Engineer who later served as a police official in the region.
