The park contains two artificial turf fields, five tennis courts, basketball courts, cricket pitch, and walking paths surrounding Minoru Lakes with trees.
The site began as a horse racing track in 1909, hosting 7,000 spectators at its opening event and later served as an airfield.
The Richmond Cultural Centre within the park includes the public library, art gallery, museum, and archives for community engagement.
Located at 7191 Granville Avenue, the park features four picnic shelters with tables, 145 benches, and exercise equipment throughout the grounds.
The first airplane flight west of Winnipeg in Canadian history took off from Minoru Park on March 25, 1910.
