Swangard Stadium

Swangard Stadium is a multi-purpose venue with a natural grass playing surface and a full Olympic-standard eight-lane running track in Burnaby. The facility can accommodate around 5,200 spectators for various sporting events.

The facility opened in 1969 when sports journalist Erwin Swangard raised funding for its construction. Since then, it has grown into a major venue for regional and international sporting events.
