Virginia Mason Athletic Center is a training facility for the professional football team Seattle Seahawks located along Lake Washington in Renton. The complex features four outdoor practice fields and a three-story building with extensive training spaces, meeting rooms, media facilities, and administrative offices.

The facility opened in 2008 on a site that was once home to a coal tar refinery and creosote plant. Before construction, extensive environmental cleanup work was completed to transform the contaminated industrial ground into a modern training campus.

The training center opens its fields to the public during training camps, giving local football fans a chance to watch professional players at work up close. This access has made the facility a gathering place for community members who want to experience the sport firsthand.

The grounds are accessible with public parking available, and the best time to visit is during the public training camps held before the season begins. Check ahead to confirm that training sessions are open to visitors, as regular operations are generally closed to the public.

The indoor practice field reaches nearly 95 feet (29 meters) high, allowing trainers to work on specific football drills that require extra vertical space. This unusual height makes it possible to practice techniques that might otherwise only be developed during actual games.
