Naval Reserve Armory, Military armory and museum in Lake Union, United States.
The Naval Reserve Armory features concrete construction with Moderne and Art Deco design elements, including a central drill hall measuring 133 by 100 feet.
Built between 1941 and 1942 by the Works Progress Administration, the armory trained thousands of naval recruits during World War II operations.
The building now houses the Museum of History and Industry, presenting exhibitions about Seattle's maritime heritage and technological developments through the decades.
Located near Lake Union Park, visitors can access the facility through public transportation or park in the dedicated lot adjacent to the building.
The renovation project achieved LEED Platinum certification by incorporating sustainable features and recycled materials while maintaining the original architectural character.
