Harvard Exit Theatre, Historic cinema in Capitol Hill, Seattle, United States
The Harvard Exit Theatre occupied a three-story structure with classical architectural elements and maintained its original grand lobby from 1925.
The Women's Century Club established this building in 1925, and it transformed into a cinema in 1968 under the ownership of Jim Osteen and Art Bernstein.
From 1968 to 2015, the theatre presented independent and foreign films, becoming a central part of Seattle's cinema landscape.
The building now houses the Consulate of Mexico, following a complete renovation in 2018 that converted the space into modern offices.
The Women's Century Club continues to gather in the building every third Friday of the month, maintaining a tradition that spans nearly 100 years.
